Ideation
Concept Refinement and prototyping
To create prototypes of the flow forms, I attached the profiles to a block of foam and followed those lines with the band saw.
Tested different handles using scraps to improve aspects of form between each full scale model.
Final Wooden Form:
Left extra margin throughout bandsaw cut form to allow more intricate shaping in the sanding process.
Refining shape
Using files and compact air sanders to define curves. Then preceded hand sanding to 400 grit.
